Castle Gwynn, Tennessee
This is one tower of a castle my friend, Mike Freeman built on his property in Tennessee. He's the owner of the Tennessee Renaissance Festival.
Roman Legionary and Auxiliary
I made these two armours for my non-fiction book on the Whole Armour of God. They are both as close to the original armour as a reproduction can get. What you're seeing is what the Apostle Paul was looking at when he wrote his passage in Ephesians 6:10-18
A Bevy of Bascinets
At one particular time, I had all of these helmets in my shop at one time. Not all of them were made by myself.
Trio of Great Helms
This is a group of great helms I made, all with tournament crests. Medieval knights used to joust wearing these elaborate head coverings.
Transitional armour, c. 1360
A transitional armour, which means it's a combination of mail and plate. The crest on the coat of plates is the client's. The helmet, called a cervellier, is raised from a single piece.
